Progressive Dinner,  June 2009

Always a highlight of the year was the Progressive Dinner, held on Saturday, June 14th. A great time was had by over 50 attendees. The evening began with Appetizers and Wine in the beautiful garden and home of Judy Chessa- and yes, the rains held off. There were 2 tables full of delicious hot and cold appetizers and a choice of 7 different wines from 5 countries and Long Island.

Many people enjoyed the main entree, Hoisin Pork Tenderloin recipe from Christine Drysdale on p.22 of the Cooking with Friends Cookbook (Copies still available in the church office. The price is $7. )

Dinner continued at the host homes of Kathy and Carl Anderson, Carol and Erik Jensen, Dick and Mabel Seymour, Karen La Bonte and Mark Linehan, Joanne and Steve Grauert - an elegant time for all.

A return to the Church for dessert and celebration of Noreen and Chuck Radke's 50th Wedding Anniversary with a cake provided by the Radkes. Hope you will join us next year.

From the committee: Louise Fang, Karen Gerth and Barbara Humphrey
