Mission/Deacons School Supplies


Mission/Deacons have been putting together back to school supply kits for the children of Food Pantry clients.  In 2008, Mission/Deacons put together 60 kits, which were given out in the FIRST TWENTY MINUTES of the Food Pantry.  

For 2009, Mission voted to dedicate the Pentecost offering toward the purchase of school supplies.   See some of the assemblage in the snapshots below.

Thanks to the many hands who made light work assembling school supply kits after the service on Aug 9 and August 16.  With the help of a good number of volunteers, we gave out school kits to food pantry clients with children on Saturday, August 22
